Gavin McGuire, Regional Director for FMB NI says, “The Government NISRA stats looking at economic outputs showed the construction sector reported its biggest ever fall in output, down 30% in the second quarter. Lockdown measures and challenging trading times had a huge impact on the sector. “Despite a worrying economic picture, there may be some hope on the horizon. We were pleased to see that FMB’s latest State of Trade Survey has indicated the resilience of the small to medium-sized (SME) sector.
