In June this year the company moved into its new £5million headquarters at Boucher Place, Belfast, underlining its commitment to Northern Ireland. Gilbert-Ash works throughout the UK and has undertaken numerous projects worldwide in a total of 41 countries from Poland and Bahrain to China, Japan and Australia on behalf of the UK Foreign & Commonwealth Office. At home, the company boasts a wide-ranging series of projects including Belfast’s new AC Hotel by Marriott and the Fitzwilliam Hotel. Gilbert-Ash’s portfolio also includes some of Northern Ireland’s most iconic construction projects such as Victoria Square, the Lyric Theatre, the SSE Arena and the Causeway Visitor Centre. With a reputation for taking on niche projects which require high levels of innovation to succeed, Gilbert-Ash brings a fresh perspective on building,
implementing a collaborative, design- led approach. The company combines insight and intelligence, vision and talent to deliver far-reaching, visionary construction projects. The company has a long-standing association with the Construction Employers Federation, with Managing Director, Ray Hutchinson serving as CEF President for two years before stepping down in June. He is currently sitting on the Federation Council. Mr Hutchinson said: “Firstly, I would like to congratulate CEF on the 75th anniversary, this is a wonderful achievement and during those years it has played a central role in transforming the construction industry here in Northern Ireland.
