A s an established Principal Contractor, Hugh J. O’Boyle Ltd has an excellent reputation in completing high-quality construction projects for a wide range of clients. We have extensive experience in the housing, industrial, education, health, historical buildings and community sectors. Established by Hugh O’Boyle in 1948, the company has grown over the years from a small family run business to a medium sized company that still holds family and an excellent team at its core. Throughout recessions and the recent Covid-19 pandemic we have maintained a renowned presence in the industry which is very much attributed to the strong work ethos and commitment of the team at Hugh J. O’Boyle. Based in Downpatrick, Co. Down our premises include spacious offices, stores and specialist joinery workshops. Our four directors specialise in Contract Management, Surveying and Finance, with over 90 years’ experience in the industry they
all maintain a ‘hands on’ approach to the day-to-day running of the company. We believe quality and the success of a company rests with its people. Our loyal and experienced team have the appropriate training and skills to successfully deliver high quality projects. We have completed a wealth of projects, from restorations of stunning listed buildings to large new-build housing developments. We pride ourselves in continually delivering high quality schemes for our clients. This is evident in the number of repeat contracts we have completed for various clients. One such client is Montalto Estate, having previously constructed the new wedding venue at The Courtyards at Montalto and refurbishment works at Montalto House, we were delighted to be back working with the Wilson family at the familiar surroundings of the beautiful Montalto Estate to construct a new Visitor Centre and Café which not only boosted the local economy but
also enhanced tourism in Co. Down. Hugh J. O’Boyle Ltd have been a member of the CEF for over 20 years, benefiting from additional multi- discipline advice and guidance from industry experts who represent our sector in Northern Ireland. Over the years we have attended numerous courses, seminars & events hosted by the CEF, which we have found hugely beneficial. We have also enjoyed participating in and attending the Construction Excellence Awards in recent years which provides a fantastic opportunity to network with industry peers and receive an insight into landmark construction projects in Northern Ireland.
