Successful projects completed by Leo Matheson Ltd include the new Evangelical Presbyterian Church on the Stranmillis Road in Belfast, which consisted of the construction of a 3 storey Worship Centre with 3 fully fitted contemporary kitchens, changing places bathroom and auditorium fitted with a state-of-the- art AV system. Leo Matheson Ltd was also appointed as main contractor for a project on the historic Bloomfield Church near Cyprus Avenue in Belfast which required the refurbishment of existing halls and offices with new energy
efficient lighting and heating and state-of-the-art AV system as well as building a new extension and ensuring the church could continue to function during construction. Recently, we were proud to have aided a welcome economic and tourism boost to our hometown of Castlewellan with the completion of a two-phase project that included the Eco Fresh Food Centre and Hillyard House guest inn for our client, Fresh Food Centres Ltd. This high-quality project involved the demolition of an existing shop unit and construction of a replacement three-storey building, incorporating a spacious retail unit, warehouses and office space. The 2nd phase was the refurbishment of an existing building to incorporate the formation of a courtyard restaurant, kitchen, bar and major internal alterations to the existing structure for guest accommodation.
