In the last 20 years Glasgiven Contracts has expanded into Southern Ireland, opening offices in Bracetown Business Park Clonee, Dublin. Our £8m Design and Build Orchard Building at Stranmillis University College, Belfast was awarded the RSUA Design Award, RIBA Sustainable Planning Award and the UK Sustainable Building
of the Year Award, while the quality of our Design and Build on the £6m Tollymore Mountain Centre project in Newcastle for Sport NI was recognised at the CEF Construction Excellence Awards, RTPI/RSPB Awards and RICS Awards. Glasgiven Contracts was awarded Education Project of the Year 2018 at the Irish Construction Industry Awards for Le Cheile Post-Primary School in Tyrrelstown, Dublin. This €20m Design and Build project included 27 Classrooms, Special Educational Needs Unit and Sensory Garden, Specialist and Support Teaching Spaces, Physical Education Hall, All-weather Playing Pitch, Car Park, Landscaping and New Access Road. Glasgiven Contracts is currently constructing the €27m Maynooth Education Campus comprising two large Secondary Schools and a Sports
Glasgiven Contracts completed the £6m Design and Build project for Tollymore Mountain Centre in Newcastle.
Campus, and the £23m project for Devenish College, Enniskillen is due for completion Winter 2021. This Education Campus will cater for 800 pupils with School Meals Accommodation, Sports Hall and associated Rugby, Soccer and Hockey Pitches. Since 1986, we have been proud members of the CEF and are thankful for the role the Federation plays within the industry and its recent responses to issues such as Brexit and the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
