SHOWER TRAY INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION
1. Fit the waste fittings to the shower tray lining up with existing waste pipe position and check for leaks. 2. Position the shower tray on supporting points (max 200mm apart as per diagram) using flexible mortar adhesive supports and then fill the gaps alongside the tray edges with the same mortar adhesive. 3. We recommend you to use MAPEI products (ULTRALITE S2 QUICK or ELASTORAPID ) to avoid excessive tightening the ceramic. 4. Position the shower tray paying attention to the thickness of the floor covering and verify the correct height. (N.B. initially level the surfaces where shower tray will be placed.) Ensure the shower tray is sitting perfectly level checking all angles with a spirit level. 5. Wait for the mortar to take root so the tray is stable and then proceed with the floor tile finishing. Ensure a 3 mm gap is left between the tile and the tray edges to avoid possible damage due to settlement. 6. Seal the gap with white, anti-mould silicon or elastic mortar. Possibility of cutting during installation using: • PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) • An angle grinder • Diamond blade, abrasive sponge Alternatively, a water jet cutter can also be used.
