Screen printing company with designs on innovation and success

An innovative Gloucester-based screen printing studio with a refreshing can-do attitude is already making its distinctive mark on the international market. Guano Crazy Printing (or GC Printing for short) was set up just two and a half years ago, by graphic designer Aaron Summers and his business partner Andrew Evans. And with a company name no one is likely to forget, the two young men’s drive and ambition has seen them win orders from as far afield as Finland, Sweden and Germany. Now they are turning their sights on the home front in Gloucestershire and beyond. GC Printing is based at Westend Parade, Gloucester and specialises in manual garment screen printing, embroidery and vinyl printing. Aaron has established a reputation as a talented hands- on printer and designer with a penchant for the original and quirky. With a degree in graphic design, he prides himself on producing affordable, retail quality apparel with a quick turnaround. GC Printing uses the latest technology to produce products that really stand out. The range of products suitable for embroidery is extremely varied, from hats to polo shirts, softshell jackets and jumpers. When it comes to screen printing, using different types of inks, such as water-based and discharge inks and also utilising various printing techniques, can give a different

feel to each job. Vinyl printing gives a crisp and clean-cut finish and is especially suitable for smaller runs of garments. Andrew Evans, who comes from an established Gloucester family business, explained: “We are a young company with our finger on the pulse of new and up-and-coming techniques, especially in the area of computer-aided design. “We can turn a concept into a design and then into a finished garment. We get a lot of people who come to us with an idea, but they don’t know what to do with it. “We can sit down with them, have a chat and make it work. And we not only make the customer’s idea come true, we can add an extra dimension to the original idea.” He added: “We never say no. We are a young dynamic company with a fresh approach and this has not only won us jobs in the past, but ensured those customers keep coming back.” GC Printing has recently taken on a new team member, Kelsey Lindsay, to help the business continue its growth. Aaron Summers said:“He has been the perfect addition to the team, who came in and hit the ground running. We enjoy what we do at GC Printing and I think that is
