Basin wastes to match your bathroom perfectly The most popular Crosswater waste is universal, which will work with basins with or without an overflow. Separate slotted and unslotted options are also available, which adds simple pop-out cleaning.

If your basin doesn’t have a built-in overflow, you will need a UNSLOTTED basin waste which is watertight and does not allow overflowing water to feed into the waste pipe.
If your basin has a built-in overflow, you will need a SLOTTED basin waste which will allow overflow water to be drained, whether the waste is open or not.
Typically Crosswater wastes have a premium and straightforward click-clack mechanism which requires a single push to close and to open, but a permanently open free-flow waste is also available. The flip-top waste spins in within itself to close and open the water flow.
