Apartment Locker

Amazon Hub Apartment Locker is a package management solution that comes in two different configurations - Indoor or Outdoor. In the initial stages, Amazon will ask Apartment Locker.

Size Sizing is the same Indoor or Outdoor. These are minimum size estimates; actual locker sizes will vary based on property layout.

Important Clearance Measurements: • Side: 2” on each side of locker system (i.e. a 9ft locker needs 9’-4” of width) Location should be flat and stable concrete - slope can have <=2" rise or fall • • • Height: System is 6’-9” + 3” clearance above Electrical/Network • • Cannot share circuit with other systems that utilize a compressor (typi- cally vending machines) • Input voltage: 120 AC @ 60 HZ 8.0A • • Optional: Make your Indoor Apartment Locker cellular ready. There is a one-time cost to updagrade. Front: 36" clearance between the front of the Apartment Locker and any other obstacle; 48" clearance required in California Back: 2" of space between back of locker and end of system (total depth 25") Data port if cellular upload and download speeds are not at least 1 Mbps roperties can have more than one Apartment Locker, for instance, for a 500+ unit Garden-style property it might be more convenient to your residents to have a multiple locker system throughout the property

Outdoor Systems

• A structure will not need to be built around them, they are weatherized and have drainage systems • Surface: Concrete - the system will be bolted into the surface, concrete pad thickness will be specified on installation guide • The system has a lighting structure - to minimize issues with residents, consider a location that will limit the light shining into residential units. Consider the safety of users when standing at the Apartment Locker – avoid close proximity to drive lanes • Close proximity to electrical disconnect box (cannot be installed on or behind locker). Cannot be within 5’ of propane tanks and other combustible items Important Clearance Measurements: • • Front: 36” clearance between the front of the Apartment Locker and any other ostacles (unless located in CA then clearance is 48”) Side: 8” on each side of the locker system to allow room for bracing brackets (i.e. a 9’ locker needs 10’-4” of width) • Back: 5” from any walls or other structures to ensure adequate air circulation. If the Apartment Locker is installed on asphalt, it must sit within 5” of a sturdy wall, made from a material that isn’t stucco. The required support brackets will be bolted into the wall. • Height: clearance is 7’- 5 ” - structure is 7’-0”+ 5 ” for cellular antenna on top of Starter Apartment Locker. • Freestanding lockers require at least 8" on back and each side of locker Electrical/Network • Hard-wired connection 840 Watt (max); 125 Watt (regular) • Input Voltage: 120 AC @ 60Hz 8.0A • Cannot share circuit with other systems that utilize a compressor (typi- cally vending machines) • 20A dedicated circuit with standard breaker disconnect. Disconnect • Cellular (no data plan is required) • An electrician needs to return once the Apartment Locker is installed to complete final hookup.
