Ballot Results
Kurtis Peterson with The Inspectors of Election announced the results of the Election. The membership vote was to approve the reversal of the operating rule, Section 3D, to not allow pets on common areas that line the west, south and east sides of the Tennis and Pickleball courts.
450 Yes 339 No 1 Abstain- Quorum Only
President Farmer announced that the rule will be reversed and the areas around the Tennis and Pickleball courts will no longer be pet friendly. The Pet Rule has been reversed, effective immediately
Open Forum
• Lot 383 - Julia Buckland- Questioned the use of DG in the area surrounding the sports courts and if the Board would consider purchasing of lots for pet relief purposes. • Lot 67 – Paul Rosen- New Owner, questioned where pet relief areas are currently. • Lot 58 – Dena Lage- Asked about additional land usage option and use and care of current pet relief area. • Lot 606- Vicki Cleveland- Expressed opinion about the ruling and her usage of the pet relief area. • Director Hare- When will the rule reversal go into effect.
Closing Remarks
A. President Farmer announced that there will be an unscheduled Board Meeting on July 16, 2020 with more information to follow.
B. Director Hare asked if there were any COVID 19 updates. GM Vitrano stated that due to a recent County announcement of closures, we will postpone the Administration office opening that was scheduled tentatively for July 1, 2020 and take it day by day.
