Unfinished Business

A. Tennis Center Discussion and Direction on Construction GM Vitrano gave a summary of our process for finding a contractor for both projects. 1. Discussion

a. Rudy Dostal Lot 983- Suggestion about multiple bids for the Tennis Center and Sports Courts. b. Robin Polson Lot 556- Concerns about not removing palm trees and foliage of replacement trees. c. Katie Lind Lot 71- Palm Trees if not removed will prevent a viewing area as trees will get in the way. d. Steve Vaughn Lot 1048- Question about hardscape in the diagram Director Hare proposed that the Board authorizes an expenditure in the amount of $71,625 for the installation of the Tennis Center to include the removal of the palm trees and award the contracts to Whitley’s Construction and Vintage Landscape. Motion- Director Hare GM Vitrano reviewed Reserve funds for the project. He discussed options if the full project is not desired, that the area needs to be brought up to presentable condition. In discussing with Yul Roe of Project Links he estimates that this can be done for approximately $5,000. 1. Discussion a. Katie Lind Lot 71- Question if grass will remain in the surrounding area. Director Boudin proposed that the Board approve the project to lower the decomposed granite around the Tennis courts and add additional plants not to exceed $5,000. Motion- Director Boudin Second- Vice President Renoe Approved 6-1 (Director Mosley- voted no) C. Approval of Minutes of June 11, 2020 with Amendments Treasurer Leahy asked that a copy of the Reserve and Capital spending plans that were approved by the Board for the fiscal year 2020-2021 be attached to the minutes of June 11, 2020 so that there is a record of what the Board approved. Motion by Treasurer Leahy to approve the minutes of June 11, 2020, with the amendment that a copy of the Reserve and Capital budget be attached to the minutes.
