HOW TO ADJUST OPTO SENSORS
The opto sensors should normally have only 1 green LED on.
When a ball passes the sensor, the 2nd green LED will also come on for a split second.
If an opto has both green LED’s on at the same time, it will score automatically because it thinks a ball is going through the hole. There is an adjustment dial on the opto sensor that can be adjusted with a small screwdriver.
To adjust sensor: Gently turn dial with a small screwdriver clockwise until both green LED’s are on.
Then turn counterclockwise until the 2nd LED goes out and there is only 1 LED light on.
To test : Place finger in the hole in front of the optos and ensure that both green LED’s come on.
Warning: Bright lights can interfere with these opto sensors and give false signals. Do not use a bright light when adjusting the opto sensors.
If game has software version 2.2 or higher, the correct “Debounce” setting for electric optos switches is 20. Refer to “Debounce” Section for details.
