Skee-Ball Premium+ Full Service Manual

DEBOUNCE

Debounce is a setting in the menu of the Skee-Ball game.

It sets the length of time (in milliseconds) that the main board needs to see a voltage signal from a sensor to actually count a score.

Background: If the debounce is set too quick, then the main board may interpret background electri- cal “noise” as a score signal, and score points when no ball is thrown. If the debounce is set too slow, then a second ball being thrown through the same score hole will not score. The main board will “see” that second score signal as part of the first signal.

To access the debounce menu: Press and hold the “Start” button on the lane cover for 10 seconds.

The screen will show the software version.

Press the volume button to cycle through the de- bounce options: 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, & 60 The correct setting for electric optos switches is 20.

The correct setting for mechanical switches is 60.
