TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
Troubleshooting Strategy Use common sense and a systematic method of troubleshooting to determine the exact problem, probable cause and remedy. Use the process of elimination using the suggestions below to find a faulty component. Always check for the obvious causes first - such as unplugged, loose, or broken wires, and stuck or jammed components.

Lights in front ball reservoir are not working
Pinched, broken, or disconnected wiring. LED strip defective. Pinched, broken, or disconnected wiring. LED strip defective. Pinched, broken, or disconnected wiring. LED strip defective.
Ensure speaker is connected to CE25504 harness, which is connected to Main Board Assembly. Ensure the “ Volume ” button on the front switch panel is operating correctly. Check for 3.5 - 4 Ohms on speaker. Replace speaker if needed. Part # AACE8811A Refer to wiring diagram and check cables from LED strip to Main Board. (CE25500, CE25507, CE25506) Replace LED strip. Part # AACE25501 Refer to wiring diagram and check cables from LED strip to Main Board. (CE25507, CE25506) Replace LED strip. Part # AACE25500 Refer to wiring diagram and check LED strip to Main Board. Replace LED strip. Part # AACE25502
Lights under alley are not working
Lights in playfield area are not working
No Sound Press the “ Volume ” button on front switch panel to see change.
If volume does not change with button push, refer to “ How to Open Electronic Area ” to access parts.
Volume Switch on front switch panel defective. Pinched, broken, or disconnected wiring.
There are 2 versions of playfield switch cables. Refer to “ How to Access Mechanical Score Switches ” or “ How to Access Mechanical Score Optos ” to determine which version is in your game. Refer to “ How to Adjust Opto Sensors ” to clean and adjust. If mechanical switches, replace Part # A5SE25500 Ensure switch is fully plugged in and tight. Refer to wiring diagram and check cables from score switch to Main Board Replace Volume Switch. Part # AAPB25501 Refer to “ How to Replace Switch in Front Switch Panel ” Refer to wiring diagram and check cables from switch to Main Board. (CE25507, CE25506)
Sound is good, but volume doesn't change with button
Dirty or Faulty Score Switch
A score hole does not give points
Pinched, broken, or disconnected wiring.
Faulty Gutter Ball Switch
There are 2 versions of playfield switch cables. Refer to “ How to Access Mechanical Score Switches ” or “ How to Access Mechanical Score Optos ” to replace main playfield switch cable. Refer to “ How to Open Electronic Area ” to inspect connection to Main Board. Replace if needed. Part # AAMB25501 Refer to “ How to Access Gutter Ball Switch ” to replace Gutter Ball Switch. Part # AASE25500 Refer to wiring diagram and check cables from score switch to Main Board. (CE25505, CE25510)
Gutter ball switch not working
