exalteth himself against all that is called God or that is worshipped; so that he sittetb in the temple of God, setting himself forth as God. . . . And then shall be revealed the lawless one, whom the Lord Jesus shall slay with the breath of His mouth, and bring to nought by the manifestation of his com ing.'' This pictures anything but a con verted world at the time of our Lord's re turn. Our Lord Himself on one occasion said, "Nevertheless, when the Son of man cometh, shall be find faith on the earth f" The clear implication of these words is that when the Lord comes that so far from the whole world being converted, real faith will be a difficult thing to find. Still again in Luke 21 :34, 35, "But take heed to your selves, lest haply your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that day come on you sud denly as a snare; for so shall it come upon all them that dwell on the face of all the earth. '' This certainly does not present to us a world already converted at the time of our Lord's Return. In the same way the Holy Spirit, speaking through the Apostle Paul, says in II Tim. 3:1-5, "But know this, that in the last days grievous times shall
