poetry, but revealed fact. Our Lord says in Matt. 13 :43, "Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their father." This is not a part of the :figurative language of the parable, but a part of the literal language of the interpretation of the parable. In a similar way centuries be fore it had been revealed by Jehovah to Daniel, ''They that are wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament, and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars forever and ever" (Dan. 12 :3). When Jesus on the Mount of Transfiguration was being glo~ified before His disciples, His face did shine as the sun, and His garments be came white as light (Matt. 7 :2, cf Luke 9 :29), and our bodies are to be like His. We shall no longer be subject to death, even the death of the body, but shall be like the angels (Luke 20 :35, 36). This resurrection body will be the consummation of our adoption, our placing as sons. In the resurrection body then received, it will be outwardly man ifest that we are sons of God. Before His incarnation, Christ was "in the forrn of God" (Phil. 2:6), that is, in the visible appearance of God and so shall we be in our resurrection bodies at His coming again.
