Thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel'' (Ps. 2:9, note the context). Our Lord will 11 execute judgment upon all, and convict all the ungodly of all their works of ungodliness which they have ungodly wrought, and of all the hard things which ungodly sinners have spoken against him" (Jude 15). He will "punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity" (Is. 26-21). "He wili render vengeance to them that know not God, and to them that obey not the Gospel of our Lord Jesus; who shall suffer punishment, even eternal destruction from the face of the Lord and from the glory of his might" (IT Thess. ~:S, _9).
