The Knights are 4-0 after opening the season with four straight wins that include: the win over Albertville, a 28-13 victory over Brewer, a 21-14 win over Douglas, and a 29-26 victory over the Sardis Lions.

Geraldine defenders River Walling (#9) and Joseph Garcia (#26) work to bring down Plainview's Kristopher Sandlin for a huge loss of yards during their Bulldogs recent homecoming game against the Bears. Geraldine won the game 35-3. Through the first games the Bulldogs' defense only gave up nine total points. Geraldine improved to 4-0 with a 17-7 victory over Hokes Bluff on September 15. Section's Aaron Thomas (#18) attempts to block a pass by Sand Rock quarterback Alec Ashley (#19) during high school football action on Friday, September 15. Sand Rock rallied for 14 points in the fourth quarter for a 14-7 homecoming victory over the visiting Lions. The win was the first of the season for Sand Rock. Section is still trying get into the win column this season, as the Lions fell to 0-4 overall with the loss.
