Carer’s Support Happy New Year from the Carer Support Service!

As we begin 2025, we want to thank all NSLHD staff for your dedication and hard work in identifying, engaging with, and supporting carers throughout 2024. Your efforts make a meaningful difference to carers and the people they care for. We hope the New Year brings you moments of rest and renewal. For many carers, this time of year can bring unique challenges. If you’re juggling caregiving responsibilities, remember to take time for yourself and set realistic goals for the months ahead.

Reaching out for support and simplifying your commitments can make a significant difference. The NSLHD Carer Support Service is here to assist you at Ryde. For a confidential chat or support, please call us on 9462 9488 or email NSLHD- Carers@health.nsw.gov.au. For more information about Carer’s support visit our Carer’s Support Intranet Page

Medical News Farewell to Dr Secombe Dr Jocelyn Seccombe has been a steady and reliable presence at Ryde Hospital since she joined us in 2017. She has served throughout the COVID response, successfully navigated many evolutions of the electronic prescribing system, and maintained a steady, cheerful willingness to anchor the afterhours and night shifts. She has resigned her post with us at Ryde and is off to travel the country with her husband in their four wheel drive. We wish her well.
