FPMS Sub-Module
The Field progress management system (FPMS) is used to track, manage and report on the man hours, material, and earned value for construction/fabrication on materials that are typically difficult to quantify.
• All components are linked to phase codes • Phase codes can be broken down into parent and child items • Gives visibility and reporting capabilities to the planned and actual information corresponding to the original budget, current estimate, forecast, and actual data • Items are associated with a claiming scheme, which ensures consistency and time-saving on data entry • FPMS module includes a progress tracking tool that tracks the materials needed for the components (steel, piping, etc.) on a percentage basis offering quantifiable incremental visibility
• Actual hours are captured for each phase code each week, which can be overlayed with theoretical hours to provide earned man-hour value for a productivty KPI • Based on the earned and spent hours, the unit rate is re-calculated in real-time • FPMS is capable of managing materials to ensure optimal purchasing and usage
