The Alabama Power Foundation supports non-profit, tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organizations across the state through the grant program. The Foundation supports programs, organizations and projects doing good work in the areas of education, community, health and human services, arts and culture and the environment. Grant requests for less than $50,000 are considered on a rolling basis. Grant requests of $50,000 or more are put before the Alabama Power Foundation board quarterly.
