The Lesser Foundation is dedicated to improving the quality of life in Contra Costa County through educational and cultural endeavors and to support children and strengthen families. The Foundation will make grants only to organizations that are exempt from federal tax under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and are not classified as private foundations under section 509(a) of the Code.

Amway funds groups and programs that have a direct, real and lasting impact on the quality of children’s lives, especially those who are disadvantaged or disabled. Amway welcomes requests to support programs that help children, particularly in the areas of health and human services, education, and arts and culture. Amway may consider requests outside these areas, but all requests should be designed to offer children the resources they need to LIVE (basic needs), ACHIEVE (building potential), LEARN (education)-and of course-PLAY (having fun).
