The Harry Chapin Foundation will fund only 501(c)(3) not for profit programs that operate in the United States that will fall within the areas of: Community Education Programs, Arts-In-Education Programs or Agricultural and Environmental Programs. Grant sizes range from a few hundred dollars to our maximum of $10,000. The Foundation Board meets three times per year on an as needed basis.

The Max and Victoria Dreyfus Foundation awards grants to organizations for which a small amount of money might make a large difference. The Foundation will consider requests to support museums, cultural and performing arts programs; schools and hospitals, educational, skills-training and other programs for youth, seniors, and persons with disabilities; environmental and wildlife protection activities; and any other community-based organizations and programs. The Foundation makes awards twice a year, once during the Spring Award Round and once during the Fall Award Round.

The Michael and Susan Dell Foundation’s primary goal is to support and initiate programs that directly serve the needs of children living in urban poverty. Priority is given to initiatives addressing children’s health, education, and micro-finance, as well as initiatives in India and Central Texas that specifically address the needs of children. The Foundation is determined to reverse the trend in childhood obesity by supporting national school-based programs that engage teachers, students and their community in healthy eating choices and regular physical activity.

Hometown Grants T-Mobile and Main Street America

The T-Mobile Hometown Grants program funds projects to build, rebuild, or refresh community spaces that help foster local connections in your town. Projects should be shovel-ready, physical builds or improvements that can be completed within 12 months of receiving Hometown Grants funding. Examples of eligible projects include but are not limited to: adaptive uses of older and historic buildings into community gathering spaces, improvements to outdoor parks or trails, and technology projects for the public library.
