The Northern Nevada Endowment Fund, formerly the Community Fund, supports the community’s most pressing issues each year. Grants are chosen by a committee of Community Foundation board members, staff, and community volunteers. We administer a variety of fund types to meet the goals and needs of our community givers. The Nevada Outdoor Education and Recreation Grant Program (NOER) seeks to provide quality opportunities for Nevada students to experience the outdoors. Administered by the Nevada Division of Outdoor Recreation, the goals of the program are to improve academic achievement and personal wellness while fostering an appreciation of nature. Public agencies, private nonprofit organizations, schools, tribal governments, and other community- based entities that provide outdoor education and recreation programs for Nevada students are eligible to apply.

RTP funding may be awarded to counties, municipalities, state and federal agencies, nonprofit organizations, and Native American tribal governments for the purpose of constructing and/or maintaining motorized and non- motorized outdoor recreational trails, trail head amenities, and trailside signage.
