The New Mexico Department of Finance and Administration (DFA) announces $7.5 million for City Park Improvements. Signed into law by Governor Michelle Lujan, 2024 Capital Outlay Projects Senate Bill 275 created the City Park Improvement Program to enhance the quality and accessibility of city park facilities across New Mexico. The City Park Improvement Program will increase recreational opportunities for residents of all ages and abilities, revitalize and modernize existing park facilities, address safety concerns within city parks and foster community engagement and a sense of place.
