Grants are limited to agencies and organizations located in and serving the greater Greensboro area. The Foundation’s interests are broad and grants are generally based on the priorities and needs of those organizations previously chosen to support. There is a particular interest in community development and quality of life, including education, programs for children and youth, parks, recreation, and human rights. While we do not accept uninvited grant applications, we will accept letters of inquiry and we are happy to discuss our interests with organizations that meet the basic guidelines. NDAD annually awards at least one Adaptive Recreation Grant. It’s a $5,000 grant opportunity for agencies/ organizations that promote and support adaptive recreational activities for people with disabilities.
