The Greater Oklahoma City Chamber focuses every day on its mission to improve Oklahoma’s business climate to make it more attractive for economic development and improved quality of life. The Greater OKC Chamber Political Action Committee was established to help achieve these outcomes by aggressively pursuing the election and re-election of pro-business candidates at the state and local levels. The Chamber PAC supports candidates in every corner of Oklahoma and our local communities to ensure that when we advocate on behalf of the business community, we have a receptive audience among our elected officials. Since its founding in 2010, the Greater OKC Chamber PAC has amassed a strong track record of giving to pro-business candidates that has exceeded $600,000. During the 2022 election year, the Greater OKC Chamber PAC had the resources to contribute $64,000 to 45 state and local candidates in the Primary, Primary Run-Off, and General Elections. Of those 45 candidates, 42 were made to successful candidates running in a competitive political environment. This gave the Chamber PAC an overall winning percentage of 93%. This level of success in electing pro-business candidates demonstrates the ability of the Chamber PAC to influence election outcomes not only in Oklahoma City, but every region of our state. As we embark on 2023 and significant local elections for Oklahoma City Council, the Chamber PAC stands ready, with your support, to continue ensuring we have individuals in office who support our city’s continued momentum.
