SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER
Based on the requirements to deliver UCL’s projected £1.25 billion capital programme UCL Estates is embarking on a period of transformation to ensure that the Estates Development and Major Projects teams are resourced and organised in line with best practice and the scale of what needs to be achieved. Having recently made several key senior appointments we now seek to recruit a number of Senior Project Managers to further strengthen the team. The Senior Project Managers will lead the delivery of a range of high-profile new build, adaptation and refurbishment building projects across an incredibly diverse estate portfolio including academic and research facilities, commercial space, and student accommodation. Responsible for providing a high level technical advisory service to UCL stakeholders, you will play a key part in the successful delivery of a multi-million development programme with projects typically valued in the £1m to £40m range albeit with multiple projects valued at in excess of £50m. The successful candidate will possess significant experience of developing, procuring and managing a panoply of projects from inception to completion in a project leadership role. You will have a track record of working effectively either in or with a large scale, complex organisation on projects and buildings of a technically complex nature. You will also possess strong financial/budgetary management skills and experience, with a high level of commercial acumen. With a strong customer focus essential, it is vital that the Senior Project Manager will have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills coupled with the ability to work in a collaborative manner with a multitude of stakeholder groups.
