Madeleine Fortin lives to serve and her passion for helping others earned the Vankleek Hill student the Governor General’s Sovereign’s Medal for Volunteers, one of the highest honours for anyone who does volunteer work in Canada. Madeleine Fortin exhibe la Médaille du Gouverneur général pour l’excellence en bénévolat, qu’elle a reçue lors d’une cérémonie le 11 février à Montréal. Vankleek Hill Collegiate Institute student Madeleine Fortin does most of her volunteer work through various extracurricular activies at her school.
