Abstract: This study analyses the representation of women and the dimensions of their image in Arab drama on the American streaming platform, Netflix. It aims to identify the women’s issues that the series in the study sample address, and explores the characteristics of female characters, the position and role of women, the behavioral manifestations of women, and the orientation of the image of women that they form all based on the sociocultural analysis perspective, using the content analysis method for an intentional sample of six Arabic Netflix series.
