Abstract: This study investigates the external factor affecting Arab economies in general and Arab labour markets in particular: the coronavirus pandemic. It argues that Arab economies do not have the ability to confront these negative effects or the integrated health and economic requirements to face the implications of the pandemic on their economies and labour markets. The study adopts a complex approach that combines deduction, which starts with general premises to reach conclusions about particulars, and induction, which comes from observing particular facts and gathering data and then defining the relationship between them and forming generalized conclusions.
