Canada Day in Clarence-Rockland and the weather was just fine for spending the af- ternoon at Parc Simon for the live music, the skateboarding and trick bike riding demonstration, and then maybe home for supper before coming back for the fire- works show. In some parts of the country, like flooded southern Alberta, Canadians are struggling with adversity but they are getting through their troubles with the help of their neigh- bours, both close to home and across the country. Because it is the Canadian way.
