Breast Cancer Awareness Breast cancer can be a frightening health topic, but what is breast cancer and how can you know the warning signs? What is breast cancer? The Susan G. Komen Foundation website states, “Breast cancer occurs when cells in the breast divide and grow without their normal control. Tumors in the breast tend to grow slowly.
