Day 7: Sarapiquí Rainforest Enjoy a day in the beautiful Sarapiquí Valley. Optional activities (all included in our overnight package, weather- dependent) include swimming in the river, night walks, an empanada-making lesson, or simply relaxing and listening to the sounds of the surrounding rainforest. Day 8: Sarapiquí Rainforest - La Fortuna Travel from the Sarapiquí Rainforest to La Fortuna. Visit a local coffee cooperative before enjoying free time. Optional: La Fortuna hot springs activity (on day 6, 7 or 8) from £49pp. Days 9-10: La Fortuna Enjoy two free days in La Fortuna, where there are plenty of optional activities available. Day 1: Arrive San José Arrive at any time and meet your tour leader (CEO) and group this evening. Day 2: San José - Puerto Viejo de Talamanca Head to Puerto Viejo de Talamanca on Costa Rica’s Caribbean coast, with the chance to try some fantastic Afro-Caribbean cuisine. Day 3: Puerto Viejo de Talamanca Hop on a bike and ride to the beach with your CEO, then enjoy some free time. Optional: Surf lesson from £48pp. Day 4: Puerto Viejo de Talamanca - Tortuguero Travel to Tortuguero and enjoy time at leisure. Opt to visit the nesting grounds of the green and leatherback turtles Enjoy free time to explore Tortuguero. Opt to wake up early and head to the beach to watch turtle eggs hatch (seasonal), or just wander through the town.
