Avis d’adoption d’un règlement de restriction provisoire concernant les installations d’énergie renouvelable à grande échelle sur le territoire de la Municipalité de La Nation. Appliquant : La Municipalité de La Nation Avis d’adoption d’un règlement de restriction provisoire no. 8-2025 Le 5 mars 2025 Avis d’adoption PRENEZ AVIS que le 24 février 2025, le Conseil de la Corporation de la Municipalité de La Nation a adopté le Règlement de contrôle intérimaire No. 8-2025, en vertu du paragraphe 38 de la Loi sur l’aménagement du territoire. OBJET ET EFFET L’objet et l’effet du Règlement No. 8-2025 sont de prolonger pour une période supplémentaire de douze mois le délai de révision afin de permettre l’achèvement approprié de recherches supplémentaires et de consultations, et d’interdire, pendant cette période, la mise en place de nouvelles installations de production d’énergie renouvelable à grande échelle ainsi qu’une installation d’entreposage de batteries. DESCRIPTION DU TERRAIN VISÉ Aucune carte clé n’a été fournie, car le règlement de restriction provisoire (Règlement No. 8-2025) s’applique à l’ensemble du territoire de la Municipalité de La Nation. Tous les droits existants en vertu du Plan officiel et du Zonage continueront de s’appliquer. AVIS JURIDIQUE Article 38 de la Loi sur l’aménagement du territoire : Le règlement No. 8-2025 sera en vigueur pour une période d’un (1) an à compter de la date de son adoption, à moins qu’il ne soit abrogé en tout ou en partie par la Municipalité de La Nation avant son expiration. SI VOUS SOUHAITEZ FAIRE APPEL La personne ou l’organisme public qui a reçu un avis de l’adoption d’un règlement municipal en application du paragraphe (3) peut, dans les 50 jours qui suivent la date où le règlement municipal a été adopté, interjeter appel devant le Tribunal en déposant, auprès du secrétaire de la municipalité, l’avis d’appel qui expose l’opposition à ce règlement et les motifs à l’appui. Un Avis d’appel peut être déposé au plus tard le 15 avril 2025 à 16h et doit : 1. Être déposé auprès du secrétaire de la Municipalité de La Nation, 2. Indiquer les motifs à l’appui de l’appel, 3. Être accompagné des droits exigés par le Tribunal. Notice of passing of an Interim Control By-Law related to large scale renewable energy facilities within the Municipality of The Nation. Applicant: Municipality of The Nation Notice of the Passing of Interim Control By-Law No. 8-2025 March 5 th , 2025 Notice of passing TAKE NOTICE that on the 24th day of February, 2025, the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of The Nation passed Interim Control By-law No. 8-2025, under Section 38 of the Planning Act. PURPOSE AND EFFECT The purpose and effect of By-law No. 8-2025 is to extend the review period for an additional twelve months to allow for the appropriate completion of further research and consultations, and to prohibit during this period the establishment of new large-scale renewable energy production facilities and a battery storage facility. DESCRIPTION OF SUBJECT LAND No key map has been provided as the Interim Control By-law (By-law No. 8-2025) applies to all lands within the territory of The Nation MunicipalityAll existing Official Plan and Zoning permissions will continue to apply. LEGAL NOTICE Section 38 of the Planning Act: By-law 8-2025 shall be in effect for a period of one (1) year from the date of its passing, unless repealed in whole or in part by The Nation Municipality prior to its expiry. IF YOU WISH TO APPEAL Any person or public body who was given notice of the passing of a by-law under subsection (3) may, within 50 days after the date of passing of the by-law, appeal to the Tribunal by filing with the clerk of the municipality a Notice of Appeal setting our the objection to the by-law and the reasons in support of the objection. A Notice of Appeal may be filed no later than April 15th, 2025, at 4:00 PM and must: 1. Be filed with the Clerk of the Municipality of The Nation, 2. Set out the reasons for the appeal, and 3. Must be accompanied by the fee required by the Tribunal MORE INFORMATION Copies of Interim Control By-law No. 8-2025 are available for review with the Planning Department, 958 Route 500 West, Casselman between the hours of 8:30 AM and 4:00 PM.
