gaps. Still, there are also a reasonable number of respondents who do not agree or are neutral. This implies that even if there are efforts, youth have not seen them or been engaged to address those gaps.

Information and facilitation on agriculture and processed products markets
Lack of dedicated policy interventions on establishing market information platforms and the environment to facilitate market information sharing. Youth have difficulty accessing market information and guidance, particularly regional and international markets.
Youth Engagement in the Process
The survey team asked youth entrepreneurs whether they are actively engaged by the public sector in assessing the existing policy gaps as they develop and review policies and policy enforcement instruments. On average, more than 50 percent of the youth respondents disagree with the statement posed. Approximately 65 percent of the youth who disagree that they are involved in the policy cycle are from Zanzibar. This shows that although the policy situation is worse in Zanzibar, youth are generally not engaged or informed in the policy development or review process. Other associations acknowledge their key role in influencing the government to prepare effective policy instruments to stimulate the growth and sustainability of youth businesses.

Entertainment and art industry
Entertainment and the art industry have been alternative careers for most youth in years. Most youth use income from this area to invest in other economic sectors (e.g., agriculture and trade). However, youth consider the need for improved policy environment in the entertainment industry as a gap.
