Day 6: Lake Titicaca Cruise Travel by boat to see the beautiful Uros Islands, a series of human-made islands, created entirely from reeds that grow in the shallows of the lake. Later, sail to Taquile and spend time with a local community. Enjoy lunch before Travel by coach to Cusco, stopping en route to explore traditional Incan sites and villages. Arrive in Cusco for an evening at leisure. Day 8: Cusco City Tour & Archaeological Sites Enjoy a guided tour of the former capital of the Inca Empire, then head to the hills above Cusco to visit the remains of the fortress of Sacsayhuaman. Day 9: Machu Picchu Take the train to Machu Picchu, known as the ‘Lost City of the Incas’ for a guided tour. Learn of the origins of the citadel, and see some of its most prominent landmarks. After, return to Cusco by train. Day 10: Cusco - Amazon Jungle the return trip to Puno. Day 7: Puno - Cusco Fly to Puerto Maldonado then sail along the Madre de Dios River to your jungle lodge. Enjoy a walk through the trail system to explore the flora and fauna before a cruise along the river to watch the sunset and observe nocturnal species, including alligators and capybaras. Day 11: Amazon Jungle Choose from a selection of included, guided activities today. Alternatively, relax in the lodge. Day 12: Depart Amazon Jungle Transfer to the airport for your homeward flights.

Day 1: Arrive Lima You will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel in Lima. Day 2: Larco Museum & City Tou r Today, tour Lima’s old town, including Larco Museum and the impressive mansion Casa Aliaga. In the colonial downtown, be amazed by Lima´s 16th century Cathedral. Day 3: Lima - Arequipa Fly to Arequipa. Transfer to your hotel before a city tour of the main square, the neo-Renaissance cathedral, the Monastery of Santa Catalina, and the Church of the Company. Day 4: Arequipa - Colca Valley Travel from Arequipa to Colca Valley. Travel through deep ravines and high mountains to Mirador de los Andes. Enjoy impressive views of the volcanoes surrounding Arequipa before lunch in a local town. Day 5: Colca Valley - Puno Today, visit the breathtaking Condor Cross lookout at Colca Valley, the site of one of the world’s deepest canyons. You may also be lucky enough to spot huge condors flying over the canyon. Continue to Puno.
