Fall is now here and I don’t know about you, but I’m starting to get the front and back yards ready for winter. Now if I could only keep the desert weeds from blowing over the fence.
Once winter comes, then maybe I can work on the inside. One of my winter projects will be to finish two outside chairs that used to have vinyl webbing for the backs and seats. I was getting ready to throw them away when I came up with the idea of using macrame cording to fix them up. Two of the chairs have been finished and turned out well. They are even comfortable to sit in. I’ve started to cook a little more now that the weather is cooler. Creativity has come into some of my cooking because I forgot to buy some ingredients. I currently make my meatloaf with turkey stuffing instead of bed crumbs and one pound each of beef and turkey instead of all beef. The husband seems to like it. It’s a win for me since I don’t really like cooking. The question, though, is whether a meatloaf is considered cooking when an oven is used. If one can consider that is baked, then I’m good. Fall/Winter baking will make my husband happy as I will then start making him chocolate chip cookies and whatever else I can come up with. I’m trying to find a good recipe for sticky rolls but have yet to find one.
