Changing a Behavior to a Habit

Follow this strategy when you want to change a behavior to a habit:

If you are trying to maintain a regular habit of meditation or another self-care routine, try it for at least 21 days. Many studies show that it takes at least 21 days to form a habit. If you miss a day, do not be hard on yourself. Stay positive. When you remember, incorporate it back into your lifestyle.
