vote.* When it comes to you and your clinic, direct mailing your Newsletters maintains the trust and credibility your patients have for you, even after they are discharged. As you can see, despite growth in the digital marketing space, direct mail remains a primary means to reactivate patients. Despite social media seeming to have become more effective in dealing with changing environments, like when you had to adapt quickly during COVID and let everyone know that you now offer Telehealth, direct mail has remained a key component to expanding on the trust factor your patients have with you.

I think we can all agree that you’ve seen an influx of political mail these past six weeks. You’ve probably received multiple flyers or postcards with a particular candidate’s face on them and the strong call to action– Vote! Direct mail can be incredibly successful in two areas, no matter how long a person spends looking at the mail. It raises awareness of your clinic’s name (brand recognition) and highlights your message (to come back in for care). In a recent voter survey commission by the United States Postal Service, it was discovered that 68% of all surveyed voters ranked direct mail among the three most credible forms of political outreach.* It ranked higher than TV, home visits, and even digital ads – which only got 26% of the
