Mid-Level Leaders connect strategy implementation with the rest of the workforce. A strong middle management layer needs to understand both front line realities and executive perspectives driving the organisation’s direction. Typically strong in functional expertise, moving into more senior management responsibilities calls on more advanced leadership capability, enterprise mindset and cross-functional understanding to drive organisational effectiveness and implement change.
