‘Sing a rainbow’ 2017 nationals royal torbay
I was filming the solo national championship after retiring myself from the actual racing, as class president I felt a burden of responsibility for ensuring the event ran smoothly. That said, I do not want to hear Guy Mayger singing. Unfortunately the slipway was partially blocked by a fishing boat so with 87 competitors holding outside the harbour I devised a simple solution. Each group of ten finishers were assigned a colour and when we called it they would filter in. Red were first. the blue group had a long wait!
