A host of Tasmania’s premier and most popular vineyards will be back for another year of Spring in the Vines in November, an event that sees winemakers come together to collaborate with each other to celebrate the industry S pring in the Vines is an event organised by Wine South and was launched in 2021. This year is the second edition of the event and already organisers are seeing growth in participating vineyards. This year there will be 38 vineyards participating across the Coal River Valley, Derwent Valley, Huon Valley, Hobart and the south from November 4-6. For the vineyards and winemakers, it is about coming together and collaborating with others – both small and large. For the wine lovers, it is an excellent opportunity to visit vineyards that aren’t usually open to the public or that have put on special entertainment, art, or experience of some sort that is unique for Spring in the Vines. The event is designed to take advantage of Tasmania’s growing global reputation for premium cool climate wines, yet celebrating this fame among Tasmanian’s locally.
