Hostplus was proud to deliver a positive 1.57% return to members in our Balanced (MySuper) option in 2021/2022. This great result for members occurred in a financial year where the industry median return for Balanced options was negative.1 According to SuperRatings, Hostplus Balanced option ranked as the #1 top-performing option over 1, 5, 7, 10, 15 and 20 years to 30 June 2022.1 Recently, challenging investment conditions have plagued global markets. Political tensions, rising inflation and increasing interest rates are driving this volatility. In these conditions, we were pleased to deliver a positive outcome for members in this option.
