Senior Boarders Use of the Squash & Tennis Court
Whilst both of these facilities are on campus boarders are required to sign out if they are going to play Tennis or Squash.
Ensure you bring a mobile phone with you.
Tennis
Housemasters have some rackets and balls which can be borrowed to play tennis. If the gate opposite Ivyholme which leads onto the athletics track is locked then you should not attempt to climb over the gate or fence. Instead you should walk around past the PE Centre or ask for the gate to be unlocked.
During the summer the courts get very busy, if you would like to book a court this can be done via your Housemaster or directly at the PE centre reception. You are free to use the courts but if somebody has pre-booked a court you will be expected to vacate the court for them to use.
Squash
You may use the squash court situated at the Trevor Bailey Sports Ground (TBSG) but these must be booked through the Sports Club reception. Before using the court you gain permission from the duty member of staff and ensure that you inform the duty member of staff when you return.
In case of injury
For both activities, should there be an injury and you are unable to return to the boarding house you must call the duty member of staff who will attend immediately. If you return to the house injured please inform the duty member of staff who will administer first aid or call the medical centre as appropriate.
