What you need to bring
Parents are encouraged to ensure that all personal items are fully insured. Personal items are not covered by any insurance held by the College. Valuable items and money can be kept securely by the Housemaster. Boys are all encouraged to have access to a bank account. All study rooms are en-suite and are equipped with bed, wardrobe, desk, bookcase, bedside table and reading lamp. We have an in-house laundry service and items can be sent to be dry cleaned as requested. School Uniform All articles of uniform can either be bought in the Commissariat (College shop - http://shop.dulwich.org.uk/store/) or must be of similar pattern to those on sale there. • House tie* (only available from the Comm.) • Blazer with ‘DC’ motif on breast pocket (the motif is not available separately) or plain blank single-breasted jacket • Black V-neck pullover • Raincoat, overcoat, duffel coat or anorak (navy blue or black) • Charcoal grey trousers • White shirts (at least five) • Plain back or grey socks • Plain black, polished leather shoes
Games clothing and footwear All boys are required to have House sports shirt* and white shorts and trainers for Games lessons.
Upper School pupils have a choice of sports and many require additional items. Kit for school teams will be issued to team players as necessary.
Every article of clothing should be clearly marked with name tags. For further details, please do not hesitate to contact the school shop (known as The Commissariat): Tel: 020 8299 9222 Email: the.commissariat@dulwich.org.uk The commissariat will be open exclusively to overseas boarders on the day the houses open but the shop is open throughout the summer and appointments should be made by contacting the team directly. Other Items All school textbooks are provided by the College. Boys will need to bring all of their own casual clothing . Each study room has Wifi access and Ethernet connections. Boys may have laptops in their rooms, please read the guidelines for the use of mobile devices. Bedding is available but boys may bring their own if they wish, please label this clearly. Stationary, towels and toiletries are not provided. It is often useful to have some passport sized photographs .
