OKLAHOMA CITY — Oklahoma Attorney General Mike Hunter on Friday filed suit in Cleveland County against four opioid drug companies, alleging their deceptive marketing practices contributed to the state’s deadly painkiller epidemic. Listed as defendants are Purdue Pharma, Allergan, Cephalon and Janssen Pharmaceuticals. A specific amount of damages being sought was not available. “Our calculations are that it could be in the billions of dollars,” Hunter said.
