Radiator Caps
One quart aluminum tank is for cars with the manifold filler neck higher than the radiator top tank. Tank can be easily mounted as the highest point of the cooling system. Features include a heavy duty aluminum neck with an 1/8"NPT port for an overflow fitting, a 1/2"NPT bung on bottom, for a supply, and a 1/4"NPT fitting on the ALL36116 and a 3/8"NPT on the ALL36115 for a return line. Higher cooling system pressure raises the boiling point of coolant to reduce the risk of overheating. Standard size caps fit 2-1/8" O.D. x 3/4" deep necks unless otherwise noted. Recovery system caps allow coolant to exit the cooling system into an overflow or recovery bottle as coolant heats and expands. As the system cools, recovery system caps will draw coolant back in to keep the cooling system full. Non-recovery system caps allow coolant to exit the system, but do not draw coolant back into the system.
