Identical to street legal 454-O Cylinder Head, but with deleted exhaust crossover passage for more power. High performance, oval port head can help produce over 540 horsepower with 9.5:1 compression when used with the proper matching components. Intake valves are 2.19", exhaust valves are 1.88" and both are lighter, with smaller diameter (11/32") stems than original valves. Semi-open combustion chamber provides exceptional combustion efficiency with streetable compression ratios. Sold individually, bare or completely assembled.

Rectangular port big block Chevy cylinder head offers increased flow and velocity compared to standard oval port cylinder head, particularly between 3500-7000 RPM. Open 118cc combustion chambers and 315cc/300cc intake runners provide maximum performance potential. Stainless 2.19" intake and 1.88" exhaust valves have 11/32" stems (smaller than original) to reduce valve train weight. Deck surface was specifically designed for compat- ibility with all big block Chevy engine blocks. Sold individually, bare or completely assembled.

The addition of exhaust crossover passages for cold weather operation makes the Performer Cylinder Head 50-state legal. Match with a Performer manifold, camshaft and lifter kit, carbure- tor, and exhaust headers for an engine capable of producing up to 470 ft./lbs. of torque at 3500 RPM. Sold individually, fully assembled.
