Buckeye Ranch Horse AUCTION FUN DAY What the event is about... Our goal is to help develop better horses and horsemen! The committee behind the Buckeye Ranch Horse Futurity is working to make this event a place where we can all learn together. The OPEN CLASS is open to ALL BREEDS and ALL LEVELS of horsemen.This will be the place to test your skills in front of established, professional judges who can give you solid feedback. It’s not a show, just a measuring bar for you and your horse. In the Futurity, money will be paid out for the winners, although you’ll need to be showing an eligible horse by a nominated stallion (more on that inside.) Oh, and by the way, breeders of winning horses can receive a bonus as well! Finally, we’ll be hold an auction on Saturday, which is open to all breeds. Weanlings, yearlings, unstarted colts/fillies, broodmares and finished riding/performance horses are welcome. This will be a real down-on-the-farm auction, just like the ranches out west! Buy with confidence!
2026 STALLION NOMINATIONS You may nominate your stallion for the next year’s Ranch Horse Futurity to make any three-year-old offspring eligible! AQHA, APHA and Appaloosa stallions only, standing in Ohio and adjoining states. Payouts for winners AND breeders! Nomination Deadline: February 1, 2026 | $1,000 fee *Please note that in beginning in 2028, only offspring from nominated stallions will be eligible.
